Halloween Time returns to Disneyland Resort from August 21 through October 31, 2026. Both theme parks, the resort hotels and Downtown Disney will feature seasonal décor, entertainment, attraction overlays, character looks and limited-time food.
Disneyland park highlights
Jack Skellington and friends take over Haunted Mansion Holiday with a new gingerbread display, while the Main Street Pumpkin Festival returns with carved Disney pumpkins and the giant Mickey Mouse pumpkin. Mickey, Minnie and friends will appear in new seasonal costumes.
Disney California Adventure
- Cars Land becomes Radiator Screams with themed ride overlays
- Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark runs in the late afternoon and evening
- Oogie Boogie décor transforms the entrance and Buena Vista Street
- Mickey’s Trick and Treat offers music and play for younger guests
Plaza de la Familia
From August 21 through November 2, Plaza de la Familia celebrates family and Día de los Muertos with entertainment inspired by Pixar’s Coco, live mariachi music, colorful décor and specialty food.

Halloween weekends and Oogie Boogie Bash dates can affect crowd patterns. Check park hours before selecting tickets, reserve seasonal character dining early and allow time for both parks after dark. Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is an additional-cost scavenger hunt that can be a fun break from attraction lines.
