Spring will be in full bloom at Walt Disney World when the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival returns from March 10 through May 31, 2027. Disney’s first preview confirms the return of character topiaries, colorful gardens, Outdoor Kitchens and the Garden Rocks Concert Series—giving families nearly three months to experience one of EPCOT’s most beautiful seasonal celebrations.
If you are considering a spring 2027 Walt Disney World vacation, here is what has been announced and what to keep in mind as you choose your travel dates.

Topiaries, gardens and picture-perfect displays
The festival’s signature Disney character topiaries will return alongside vibrant gardens and carefully designed floral displays throughout EPCOT. These living works of art are more than decoration: they create some of the park’s best seasonal photo opportunities and invite guests to slow down and explore details they might otherwise miss.
Disney has not yet revealed the 2027 topiary lineup or garden locations. Families with favorite characters should watch for future announcements before building a must-see list. Even without a final lineup, guests can expect the park to feel distinctly different from an ordinary EPCOT day, with color and horticultural storytelling around World Celebration, World Discovery, World Nature and World Showcase.
Garden Rocks Concert Series returns
Live music will once again fill the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure pavilion. Disney says the 2027 Garden Rocks lineup will combine chart-topping artists with Orlando-area talent.
Concert admission is included with EPCOT park entry, and standard seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Garden Rocks Dining Packages will also be offered for guests who prefer guaranteed seating paired with a meal at a participating EPCOT restaurant.
The full performer lineup and dining-package reservation dates will be announced later. If a particular artist is important to your family, waiting for the lineup before locking in every park day may be worthwhile. Popular performers and dining-package times can fill quickly once reservations open.
Fresh flavors at the Outdoor Kitchens
The Outdoor Kitchens are returning with garden-inspired dishes and beverages from around the world. Disney has promised a mix of returning favorites and new creations, but the full 2027 menu has not yet been released.
Festival food is served in tasting portions, which makes it easy to share several items as you explore. Those small purchases can add up, however, so it is smart to include festival dining in your vacation budget. How to plan a festival day
Arrive with a flexible route
Festival booths, gardens and entertainment stretch across a large park. Instead of trying to see everything in one lap, combine festival stops with nearby attractions and dining. A relaxed route makes the gardens easier to enjoy and gives children time for rides and character experiences.
Plan around the weather
The festival spans early spring through the beginning of Florida’s warmer season. March can bring milder temperatures, while May is often hotter and more humid. Pack sun protection, stay hydrated and consider a midday break if you are traveling later in the festival.
Choose weekdays when possible
Weekends can attract local visitors, especially when popular performers appear at Garden Rocks. A weekday EPCOT visit may feel more relaxed, although crowd levels vary with school breaks, holidays and special events.
Leave room for new announcements
Disney will release menus, musicians, dining packages, family activities and merchandise details closer to the event. Avoid over-planning around experiences that have not yet received confirmed dates or availability.

Because the festival is spread throughout EPCOT, it can complement a normal park day rather than replacing one. Guests can still experience attractions such as Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind while weaving festival stops into the itinerary.
